Getting to Petra
Petra sits on the north coast of Lesvos. Most guests arrive through Mytilene, then cross the island by road through olive groves and mountain villages.
By air
Fly to Mytilene International Airport (MJT). Petra is about 60 km away; allow roughly 1 hour 15 minutes by taxi or rental car.

Ferries arrive at Mytilene from Piraeus and Chios. From the port, Petra is around 1 hour 10 minutes by road.

A rental car gives the most freedom. Taxis and seasonal buses also connect Mytilene with Petra; check the latest timetable before travelling.
